How coverage works

On Tap takes the call, gets the scope of the problem, and connects you with an independent licensed plumber who already works your streets. A short drive is the whole point: the plumber who knows the block is the one who finds the shutoff fast.

Middlesex County is the center of it, with calls answered day or night. If your address falls outside the area we cover, we say so on the phone instead of booking you and letting you down later.

Every town here has its own plumbing personality: borough streets with older piping, rental blocks sharing one drain stack, and newer subdivisions where the fixture connections are the thing that fails first. Describing the building properly is what lets us send someone who has already solved that exact problem down the road.

Have this ready when you call

  • Your address and what kind of building it is.
  • What is happening, and how long it has been happening.
  • Whether you can reach the main shutoff, and whether the water is still running.
  • A number where someone can actually pick up, day or night.

Service area questions

Do you charge to find me a plumber?
No. Using On Tap is free. The independent contractor who does the work is the one you pay.
How fast can someone get to my town?
That depends on who is available and how far they are, so we pass on the contractor's honest arrival window instead of guessing at one.
Can landlords and property managers call?
Yes. Tell us the property address, who has access, and how many units are affected so the contractor can plan the visit properly.
My town is not on the list. Should I still call?
Yes. The list covers where we send most jobs, but a call costs nothing and we will tell you straight away if we cannot help.
